How the Generac 10-Year Extended Warranty Works
The Generac 10-year extended warranty promotion applies to qualifying new, air-cooled home standby generators from 10kW through 28kW.
To qualify, you need to purchase an eligible generator between August 17 and September 27, 2026. Your generator then needs to be installed and activated by January 1, 2027.
The promotion is limited to one warranty per household, and refurbished generators don’t qualify.
Generac has a complete list of eligible model numbers and the full promotion terms on its website. If you’re considering a particular generator, it’s worth confirming that it qualifies before making a purchase.

Your qualifying generator must be purchased by September 27, 2026, and installed and activated by January 1, 2027.
There are a few steps between choosing your generator and having it up and running, so it’s a good idea to get started well before the purchase deadline.
